CHAPTER 8. Disarming the enemy in the face of a pistol threat
Disarming the enemy when trying to get a gun from a holster (pocket), from the belt of trousers, step forward, strike with the other foot on the opponent’s hand trying to get a gun. Then, grabbing the opponent’s hand, trying to get a weapon, at the same time deliver a blow to the popliteal bend. Knock down the enemy. Conduct counterattack actions (photo 51).
Disarm the enemy in case of threat with a pistol:
• point blank at the back: from the starting position, turning around over the right shoulder in a circle, block the opponent’s hand holding the gun, and then, grabbing the barrel with the right hand, pronounce disarming the enemy in the same sequence as in the case of a threat with a pistol at point-blank range in front (photo 52).
• point blank in front: from the starting position, squatting in steps with the left foot forward to the side, grabbing the receiver’s pistol with the right hand, moving the body weight from the bottom up to the left foot and, stepping with the right foot, simultaneously transfer the weight of the body to the right foot with a sharp movement of the hand down on itself. . Disarm the enemy. Conduct counterattack actions (photo 53).
