The game is played on a rectangular table with dimensions:

  • length 11 feet and 8 inches ± ½ inches (3569 mm ± 13 mm)
  • width - 5 feet 10 inches ± ½ inches (1778 mm ± 13 mm)
  • height - 2 feet 9 ½ inches (851-876 mm)
  • height from the playing surface to the top of the board - 39 - 40 mm

The table is equipped with six pockets: four pockets are located in each corner of the table, two pockets are located in the middle of each long side. The dimensions of the pockets must comply with the templates approved by the World Association of Professional Billiards and Snooker.

A cloth is pulled over the table, and the playing surface is marked out in a certain way. At a distance of 29 inches (737 mm) from the short side, a straight line was drawn - a bolker line. In the middle of the bolker line is located sector-D 11 inches (279 mm) radius. The positions of all colored balls are marked with dots. The short side of the table closer to the bolker line is called neighbor, and the opposite, respectively, distant end of the table.
